  • Hydrogeologist-engineer and specialist in Public Health, University of Geneva (Faculties of Science and Medicine).\n

    After a professional career with private companies and the World Bank, I joined the ICRC (International Committee of the Red\nCross) in 1985 as a Water and Sanitation Engineer. I was then head of the Training Division and later of the Assistance Division. I\ncoordinated the HELP (Health Emergencies in Large Populations) courses in partnership with the WHO and various universities. I\nalso managed a project to provide the ICRC with a training and meeting centre in Ecogia (Geneva).<\/p>\n

    Since the creation of CYC partenaires in January 2013, I have been working as a consultant for non-governmental organisation\nprojects and I regularly lead training sessions related to humanitarian work as well as drinking water and its governance. I also\nfacilitate seminars and meetings in Switzerland and abroad.<\/p>\n

    As a metaphorist, I like to base my reflections and analyses on examples from the field in a variety of cultural contexts. I like to\ncombine common sense with humour.<\/p>\n

    I am convinced that good project planning is the key to success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
